“INGENIOUS PROSPECTS” March 9-April 13, 2019

Bloody Marys and Artist Talks Sunday, March 24, from 2-5pm. Free!
Novado Gallery is delighted to present “Ingenious Prospects”,
a visionary art show based on the need of recalling the visible features of landscapes while considering the variations of aesthetics in art.

“Ingenious Prospects” is a collective exhibition of 12 contemporary artists as a proposition on describing in today’s society a variety of ways to interpret our environment in a mystical, conceptual, or romantic way. Works range from an oil painting of an isolated strip club with the American flag overhead to a romantic depiction of the Central New York countryside. Merging concept to creation, sculpture to painting and photography, abstract to figurative, the artists describe their own experiences left by landscape, reflecting their contemporary and insightful attitudes toward it. Exhibiting artists include:

ARLENE ABEND, STEPHEN DATZ, ROBERT GLISSON, STÉPHANE GRACIET, ENRICO GOMEZ, DANIEL KOTERBAY, ANNE NOVADO, STEVE PEARLMAN, LILY PRINCE, FERNANDO SANTOS, CHARLEE SWANSON, WOOLPUNK.

There will be a drawing for a gallery attendee to win one of two works by Anne Novado or Azarez.art at the closing reception from 3-5pm on Saturday, April 13."Ingenious Prospects" runs from Saturday, March 9 to April 13, 2019.
